Managing Director (m/f/d) Spain
Overview
Your Responsibilities
* Full management responsibility for the Iberian subsidiary, including production, sales, logistics, finance and HR
* Develop and execute the regional growth strategy for Spain and Portugal
* Lead, mentor and strengthen the local leadership team
* Expand customer relationships across hydraulics, industrial sectors and mobility
* Oversee production operations and drive process optimization, lean initiatives and digital transformation
* Manage budget, P&L and KPIs; report regularly to Group Headquarters in Wipperfürth
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety, legal and sustainability standards
Your Profile
* Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar (MBA preferred)
* 10–15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in an industrial/manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of hydraulics, fluid technology or related fields
* Experience in production management, lean/continuous improvement and digitalization
* Fluent in Spanish; excellent English skills; German beneficial
* Strong leadership, strategic mindset, customer orientation and communication skills
