Key responsibilities:
* Chief of the Wiesbaden Branch within the International Law Division at the Headquarter, U.S. Army Europe and Africa
* Advise on all matters of international and German law and its relation and applicability to U.S. Forces, service members, civilians, and their family members stationed at Garrison Wiesbaden
* Point of contact between U.S. Forces and German judicial and political authorities in assigned area of jurisdiction
* Informing and coordinating with commanders, supervisors, and civilian authorities and notifying German authorities of results of U.S. criminal procedures
* Monitoring German judicial trials against U.S. personnel and visitation of U.S. personnel in German confinement
* Establish procedures, guidelines, and standards for the Wiesbaden Law Branch
Profile:
* Successfully completed law degree (1st and 2nd state examination)
* Structured and very precise way of working
* Business fluent in German and English (level C2)
* Confident Microsoft Office application skills
* Team spirit, flexibility, and pleasure in working independently
