In this position, you are responsible for monitoring the health status of laboratory animals, particularly on weekends and public holidays, as well as supporting immunological assays. The position is to be filled for at least 1 year with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
Monitoring the health status of laboratory animals (mice), especially on weekends and public holidays
Performing simple tasks on laboratory animals (mice), such as measuring body weight and tumor size
Supporting immunological in vitro/ex vivo assays. Organization of laboratory and infrastructure
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in biology, medicine, veterinary medicine or a related field in the life sciences
Possession of a valid permission to work with experimental animals, such as FELASA Function A (formerly FELASA B), or equivalent certifications like FELASA Function C and D, is highly preferred
Residence in the Mainz area is required
