Vice President or Director, Head of Business Development (m/f/d)

Your role:
* leading and managing the Business Development division. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (CEO) with the aim of expanding the global product portfolio in the strategic core indications
* analyzing, selecting and implementing new product opportunities (R&D, licensing, M&A and asset deals)
* development of the existing product portfolio
* excellent cross-functional collaboration
* preparing and conducting price negotiations and concluding contracts in line with the corporate strategy
* overseeing the project management for new products
Your profile
* the ability to quickly understand and evaluate new products and markets
* relevant professional experience in the areas of BD, portfolio management, M&A, and R&D in the pharmaceutical industry
* a successfully completed degree in natural sciences or economics
* strategic foresight, great negotiating skills and an analytical mindset
* a positive, open-minded and assertive personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
* English/German language skills: at least C1-level (CEFR)
* willingness to travel
