Your Tasks
Main responsibilities
* Perform analyses of space segment or overall space system functional and interface requirements
* Coordinate overall space system validation and verification on system level
* Internal customer for spacecraft data bases and simulators
* Ensure compliance to the technical requirements
Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem engineers
* Technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties)
* Define the overall space system configuration and manage the internal and external interfaces (e.g. launcher, ground, user interfaces)
* Flow down of the mission requirements to subsystem level specifications
* Define Verification plans
* Support the generation of AIT plans and operation plans
* Supervise preparation of overall space system and spacecraft tests and review of test results
* Define Test Specifications for overall space system and spacecraft Tests
* Responsible for maintenance of spacecraft data bases
* Preparation for launch and flight phases, preparation of launcher interfaces
* Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature
Your Qualifications
* Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
* Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases B/C/D
* Good conceptual and problem-solving skills
* Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
* High motivation, pro-active working approach and strong sense of responsibility
* Team-minded and ideally accustomed to work in internationally composed teamFluency in both spoken and written English, German language skills are highly desirable
