Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager Opportunity
Rockafellas is an established elevated dining restaurant known for quality food, a welcoming atmosphere, and premier cocktails, and they are seeking an enthusiastic, self-starting, highly motivated culinary leader tojoin the team.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years of culinary leadership experience required
2. 5 years of catering experience strongly preferred
3. Proven experience in menu development and recipe creation
4. Strong understanding of current food and restaurant industry trends
5. Ability to train, direct, and supervise kitchen staff effectively
6. Exceptional leadership skills, including staff motivation and goal setting
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities
9. Experience with food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations
10. Bilingual English – Spanish strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
11. Develop seasonal and creative menu offerings
12. Create and refine unique recipes aligned with our brand
13. Train, lead, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence
14. Monitor food and supply inventory to meet cost and profitability goals
15. Assist with monthly inventory counts
16. Maintain organized storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers
17. Order and receive food products, beverages, and kitchen supplies
18. Ensure daily kitchen operations are running smoothly, including:
19. Proper staffing levels
20. Cleanliness and sanitation
21. Appropriate inventory levels
22. Functional equipment
23. Support both restaurant service and catering operations
24. Perform additional duties as needed to support overall business success
25. Schedule Requirements
This is a full-time position. Nights and weekends are required.
