Your role
As a trainee Czech Translator, you will:
1. translate non-legal texts from English into Czech;
2. revise and proofread texts translated from English into Czech;
3. identify, extract and compile terminology, particularly in the fields of economics and finance;
4. align previously translated documents so that they can be added to translation memory databases.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
5. a bachelor’s degree or higher in English to Czech translation, English studies or English for Intercultural Communication (including one or more courses in English to Czech translation);
6. a good knowledge of the MS Office package;
7. a mastery-level (C2) command of Czech and an advanced (C1) command of English according to the .
Desired:
8. familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools;
9. an intermediate (B1) command of another official EU language;
10. an interest in financial and economic affairs.
