as Head of IT for our Digitalization and IT department full-time (39 hours/week).

* As a manager, you will be responsible for the Information Technology department with two teams and a total of 15 employees
* You are responsible for the stable, secure and future-proof operation of the city's IT infrastructure
* You will shape the development of a modern IT department that actively promotes digitalization and makes the administration fit for the future
* You will lead and manage large IT projects from planning to successful implementation
* You develop practical, efficient IT solutions with a high degree of personal responsibility and a great deal of creative freedom within the framework of the technical objectives
You make the difference for us if you
* have completed a university degree (Master's) in computer science, information technology or a comparable subject and have several years of professional experience in IT
* think strategically, see IT security and digitalization as an opportunity and break new ground with courage and a solution-oriented approach
* have experience in managing projects, teams and budgets and impress with your strong communication skills, moderation skills and empathy
* approach complex topics in a structured and analytical manner, make decisions independently and keep an eye on the big picture
* inspire people with organizational talent, negotiating skills and an appreciative leadership style and actively shape change
As a tracker (m/f/d) at the City of Offenburg, we offer you a permanent employment contract in accordance with the provisions of TVöD in pay group 14 (currently full-time and between 5,150 and 7,350 euros gross per month depending on professional experience) as well as a variety of attractive offers related to your employment. In addition to annual special payments and 30 days of vacation per year, this also includes the option to lease a job bike. You will also benefit from our attractive company pension scheme, capital-forming benefits and a variable working time account. There is also the option to work remotely in some cases.
