SpringWorks’ strategic approach and operational excellence in clinical development have enabled it to rapidly advance its lead product candidates into late-stage trials and enter into multiple collaborations with innovators in industry and academia to unlock the full potential for its portfolio and create more solutions for patients with cancer.Your Role:The Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) will be responsible for managing company product(s) within a defined territory for SpringWorks Therapeutics Europe GmbH. This entails establishing and maintaining key scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within their territory and serving as a scientific expert to the medical community and facilitating the appropriate exchange of scientific information.Key expectations include the Sr. MSL being able to develop and maintain an advanced scientific, medical, and product knowledge base, communicate key insights learned, and disseminate critical scientific data to external stakeholders, including but not limited to academic/scientific/clinical experts and patient organizations.The Sr. MSL will be responsible for ensuring timely and appropriate input on the field medical engagement plans in support of our clinical development and commercialization programs and activities. In addition, the Sr. MSL will assist, lead, and drive the support of the company’s clinical trials in partnership with the clinical development team and researchers as appropriate.The Sr. MSL will be expected to master the MSL responsibilities and take on additional leadership roles on projects and initiatives within the country or region. The Sr. MSL will be expected to work independently with little direction/oversight, be accountable, and assist the Country Medical Director as needed.Location Classification – Field-Based:Officially classified as working as a member of the field organization, with the expectation of this role to travel and engage with external partners, collaborators, and other third parties regularly on behalf of SpringWorks. #LI-RemoteEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Identify KOLs and establish and maintain strong and deep scientific relationships with KOLs across multi-specialty disciplines.Serve as a scientific expert to the medical community and facilitate the appropriate exchange of scientific information.Communicate experts’ opinion and feedback on new data and clinical trends to Medical Affairs and translate this information into strategic recommendations.Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and performing investigator-initiated research.Collaborate with the Clinical Operations organization to enhance patient enrollment in company-sponsored clinical trials.Serve as medical lead and provide scientific support at medical congresses.Lead national projects such as national congresses, PAG engagement, as delegated by Country or European medical leadership.Be familiar with country specific pharma rules and regulations.Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions.Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with regional and national strategy.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical decision makers.Partner with cross-functional teams to develop strategy and generation of health economic and outcomes data.Serve as mentor for other new hires and/or less-experienced Website relevant medical activities/projects.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Role Requirements:Education: Advanced Scientific degree or equivalent experience required (MD, PhD, PharmD).Minimum of 5 years MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Rare disease experience preferred, particularly in Oncology and/or Neurosciences.Demonstrated mastery of effectively presenting clinical/scientific information.Expert level proficiency with business software including Veeva CRM or a comparable customer relations management tool.Ability to understand, review, and communicate complex technical concepts and technologies.Working knowledge of the relevant national compliance guidance for pharmaceutical manufacturers.Leadership skills including experience working with cross-functional teams.Highly collaborative with outstanding relationship management skills.Fluent in local language(s) and a high level of English proficiency.Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule.Ability to travel occasionally including overnight stay driven by business need.We offer best-in-class benefits for our team of SpringWorkers who work with urgency on behalf of patients suffering from devastating diseases.DE&I: We believe in fostering a culture of belonging.
