Supply Chain Analyst - Pharmaceutical Industry Location: Germnay Employment Type: Contract (must already be set up to work as a freelancer/contractor) About the Role EPM Scientific is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical organisation seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support end‑to‑end planning, inventory management, and supply chain performance. What You'll Be Doing Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence, and cross‑functional inputs Support supply planning activities to ensure product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels Monitor inventory performance across internal sites, CMOs, and logistics partners Analyse slow‑moving, expired, or at‑risk stock and recommend actionable solutions Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as OTIF, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns Prepare monthly reports and insights for senior leadership Collaborate with suppliers, CMOs, manufacturing, and quality teams to track production and resolve bottlenecks Identify and support continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, process automation) Ensure all supply chain processes comply with GMP/GDP and regulatory standards Support audits with accurate documentation, batch traceability, and data integrity What We're Looking For Essential Skills: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.) Understanding of pharmaceutical GMP/GDP regulations Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Preferred: Background in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry Knowledge of cold‑chain or temperature‑controlled distribution Experience with planning tools (SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis, OMP) Lean/Six Sigma certification Key Competencies Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills Ability to multitask and prioritise in a regulated environment Confident collaborating across cross‑functional teams Comfortable working with large datasets and complex processes If you're passionate about using data and insight to drive supply chain excellence in the pharmaceutical sector, we'd love to hear from you
