The role

We’re looking for a Front End Software Engineer with a passion for modern web technologies to join our growing engineering team in Berlin. You’ll work primarily with React to develop and enhance features on our customer-facing website and internal tools, integrating with Python-based APIs in a containerised, service-oriented environment.

You'll be based in our friendly Berlin office, working closely with co-located team members and colleagues in the UK. We operate a hybrid model with in-office days typically on Tuesday and Thursdays. English is our team’s working language.


What you will be doing

* Develop new features using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, NextJs
* Enhance and maintain existing features, fixing bugs and responding to evolving requirements
* Contribute to our atomic React component libraries
* Work closely with UX designers to ensure high-quality, user-friendly interfaces
* Collaborate with Backend and QA teams to ensure smooth API integration


What we are looking for

* JavaScript development experience, ideally with React and modern tooling
* Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS (preferably SCSS or CSS-in-JS)
* Confident in debugging and writing unit and integration tests
* A good eye for UI and UX design
* Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end applications
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
* A collaborative mindset and openness to working across disciplines within your team
* An interest in the potential of AI tools
