As an Expert for Short Term Trading you are be responsible for developing structures and support build-up of a team for manual and/or automated intraday trading.
You trade in day-ahead and intraday to manage our renewables portfolio, BASF-owned CHP power plants, and site demand.
You develop optimization strategies for renewable power production from own assets based on continuous analysis of multiple market and weather data sources to derive trading decisions and strategies to maximize our P&L.
In addition, you integrate BASF-owned CHP power plants, renewables projects and PPA contracts in the BASF Renewable Energy business model.
completed university studies in physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics
experience in short term energy trading
excellent language skills in English written and spoken; German is a plus
