Our Insurance Solutions team offers expertise in driving performance and supporting business models for existing and emerging risks in Property & Casualty insurance.
* We conduct market research, collect information, test hypotheses, and execute bespoke analysis to provide top-quality consulting services and tailored solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Present results to senior team members, building high-quality slide decks and dashboards
* Support our team in daily operations on ad-hoc tasks, such as studies in statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, data science or related fields incl. business administration with a quantitative focus
We are looking for a results-oriented and self-reliant individual with excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Knowledge of analytical programming languages (e.g. Python or R) and data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI) is an asset. Previous experience in the insurance sector is a plus. You must be enrolled in an academic institution for the whole duration of your internship.
As a student from outside the EU, you may require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
Requirements:
* Studies in statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, data science or related fields incl. business administration with a quantitative focus
* Very good MS Office skills
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills. English is a must, French/German/Italian or Spanish is appreciated
* Knowledge in at least one analytical programming language (e.g. Python or R) as well as one data visualisation tool (e.g. PowerBI) is recommended
* Previous experience in the insurance sector is a plus
