NCE – Service – Service Operation – Technical Operations Offshore
Plant Operations Offshore is part of NCE Technical Operations Offshore (Northern & Central Europe) and supports the organization in installation of a great number of SCADA systems controlling large sized wind power plants. We are a team of skilled and committed colleagues, who are enthusiastic about wind energy working in a modularized setup where you will contribute to the process within your area of expertise. Our job is to turn a cluster of wind turbines into a power plant according to contractual and regional requirements. Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors.

Responsibilities
Your primary area of responsibility will be to:
1. Configure and commission network communication for Vestas SCADA solutions and other automated functionalities in our power plants
2. Provide remote support and network related troubleshooting in cooperation with customers and cross-functional teams
3. Technical documentation
4. Ensure knowledge sharing, optimizing, and improving our product solutions
5. Utilizing different software platform to support service business and stakeholder satisfaction
Qualifications
6. A relevant technical education e.g. in an engineering field, computer science, telecommunications, or a related field
7. Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and VPN, IPSec, MODBUS, OPC
8. Experience with leading networking vendors hardware and software eg: Cisco, Microsoft
9. Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools eg: Nagios
10. General knowledge of maintenance or commissioning of SCADA systems
11. Speaks and writes as minimum English fluently
Competencies:
12. Ability to organize multiple assignments and prioritize task as needed
13. Ability to participate effectively as part of an international and geographically remote team
14. Proven ability to work with limited supervision
15. High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality
16. Experience from working with wind turbines is an advantage

Additional information:
