Viivi is a real estate transaction platform (proptech) that simplifies property sales in Germany. The process is often slow, expensive, and inefficient, with a lack of transparency for both buyers and sellers.
Viivi addresses this by offering process automation, and a fully digital, ESG-compliant service hub, reducing friction and increasing market efficiency. One of our competitive advantages will be an AI-based instant valuations feature.
Viivi was founded in September 2023 and has successfully completed pre-seed funding and has early traction:

~ We’re currently a 2-person founding team with strong domain expertise in real estate and product.

What You'll Do:
Build the technical infrastructure and services for further growth in 2026 and beyond (ensure scalability, data quality, and adaptability for machine learning use cases).
Lead technology: you own all technological and architecture decisions matching the product’s needs.
Hire and guide future engineers, you’ll lead interviews, shape team culture, and set technical standards. (While direct line management is optional, you’ll be the driving force behind the team’s technical execution.)
This role can evolve into CTO or VP Engineering, depending on mutual interest and company scale. Initially, you'll be both IC and architect
Ensure legal compliance: design systems that meet regulatory requirements, including but not limited to GDPR.
Design systems with an AI-Vision: anticipate how our data and infrastructure can be leveraged for AI applications in the near future.
What We're Looking For:
~ You have a track record in designing and implementing scalable service architectures, integrating 3rd party tools. CRM experience is a big plus.
~ You still love writing code and know how to balance speed with solid engineering.
~ Strategic thinking and creative problem solving - you will be the technical advisor to the Founding team, and therefore we rely on your skills to translate tech to non-tech and build a technical roadmap which supports the business growth plans
~ You have proven experience as a people and technical leader in a fast-paced environment. We would aim for minimum of 2 years of end to end leadership responsibilities.
~ You worked as a fullstack engineer (backend biased), and you have an interest in building products end to end.
~ You enjoy working office-based with our team to build the product collaboratively, we are based in Berlin-Moabit.
~ Clear communication - we value direct, concise, clean communication. The ability to break things down in simple terms and get people on-board with your vision matters a lot.
~(Bonus) Frontend and mobile exposure - experience in cross-platform mobile development (delivering seamless experiences on iOS and Android) and building dynamic user interfaces would be a big plus but not a must.
