What we are looking for:
To support our mission, we are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and detail-oriented Project and Test Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of key software projects while also managing the planning, execution, and coordination of testing activities. This hybrid role combines traditional project management responsibilities with quality assurance oversight, ensuring that deliverables are not only completed on time and within budget but also meet the highest standards of quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
2. Develop project plans and manage project teams following agile methodologies
3. Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members
4. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple teams
5. Track projects in Jira and manage documentation in Confluence
6. Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
7. Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders
8. Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project timelines
9. Coordinate and conduct functional, integration, regression, user acceptance (UAT), and performance testing activities
10. Monitor test execution, log defects, and manage defect lifecycle to resolution
11. Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases
12. Promote best practices in quality assurance and continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications:
13. Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
14. Easy to work with
15. Sense of urgency
16. 3-5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a test or QA management role
17. Experience working with IT implementations
18. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
19. Excellent organizational, and leadership skills
20. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira)
21. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
22. Willingness to take initiative and ownership of the projects
23. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
24. Ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios
25. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory; any other languages like German are a plus
Preferred Skills and Experience:
26. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
27. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
28. ISTQB or other QA certification is a plus
29. Familiarity with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
30. Experience with risk-based testing and test coverage metrics
