Responsibilities / Tasks
1. Linux Maintenance: Maintain Yocto-based Linux distributions for ARM platforms.
2. Secure Boot: Manage the implementation of secure boot mechanisms and encrypted storage solutions.
3. Device Security: Apply best practices for embedded device security, including hardening, key management, and secure updates.
4. Digital Signing: Oversee digital signing processes for OS images and application containers.
5. Compliance: Ensure adherence to IEC 62443 and other relevant security standards.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with appliance and application teams to ensure integration and compliance with security requirements.
7. Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize low-level system components for performance and reliability.
Your Profile / Qualifications
8. Education: University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
9. Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++, Python, shell scripting and Linux system internals.
10. Embedded Linux Expertise: Strong experience in embedded Linux development, particularly with Yocto.
11. ARM Architecture: Deep knowledge of ARM architecture and BSP customization.
12. Security Implementation: Hands-on experience with secure boot, storage encryption, digital signing and embedded security standards (IEC 62443 is a plus).
13. Modern Technologies: Familiarity with containerization (Docker), microservices, and application lifecycle management.
14. Communication: Strong communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration
15. Languages: Fluent in English; good command of German is a plus.
