Climate Law Research Professorship
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as a Climate Law Research Professor. The professor will establish an innovative nationally and internationally recognized research programme in the field of climate law.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to societal solutions in adapting to and mitigating climate change, while conducting high-profile research at international level and collaborating with stakeholders from the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
* To establish a teaching programme in climate law for students of the Faculty of Law and the Graduate School of Climate Sciences
* To conduct high-profile research in the field of climate law and/or environmental law, as evidenced by international academic publications
* To collaborate with stakeholders from the public and private sectors towards policy-relevant and actionable solutions
Qualifications:
* A PhD degree in Law
* An excellent academic record of high-profile research in the field of climate law and/or environmental law
* International academic publications
* Extramural funding
* Leadership in national or international bodies
* Experience in interdisciplinary projects
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a tenure track appointment at the level of assistant professor or associate professor, depending on qualification. A solid knowledge of German is expected after a reasonable time.
