For our client we are currently looking for a Cloud Native Data Architect (m/f/d) - Frankfurt (50%) and Remote.
Your tasks
1. Development of robust data architecture for OneSet utilizing the EDP platform.
2. Conducting workshops with OneSet & EDP stakeholders to understand and modernize the application architecture for a successful adoption of the platform.
3. Consulting engineering who are building data-intensive applications with known good practices for data architecture in a cloud native environment.
4. Enabling development on how to de-centralize and model the data within a microservices architecture analyzing from a business domain perspective (eg: database per service pattern, transient and persistent data within bounded contexts)
5. Coordination with engineering and enterprise architecture on choosing suitable data processing & storage solutions based on business needs. (e.g.: Spark Engine, Relational DBs, NoSQL, Time series DB, delta-lake, caches, etc.)
6. Consulting engineering on how to effectively share data between application services at scale (e.g.: messaging with Kafka)
7. Conceptualize, design, and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate decentralized data architectures.
8. Conceptualization of designs and consulting on the implementation of data models within the defined business requirements.
9. Technical coordination with data science and analytics to understand and structure data needs.
10. Planning and coordination of the migration of existing data intensive applications from Legacy Infrastructure to EDP.
11. Ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to maintain data integrity and performance goals during migration
12. Performing thorough initial analysis of project requirements and deliverables.
13. Conducting regular reviews and audits to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
14. Providing documentation of POC results, architecture decisions and lessons learned for knowledge sharing and future reference
