KG Organization SE CFO Business Unit Taxes & Customs Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You act as a central link between multiple Business Areas, proactively collecting and consolidating requirements across the Customs Region Europe — with particular focus on high-volume or complex markets such as Germany.In close collaboration with country and regional customs leaders, you translate these requirements into actionable strategies and ensure process alignment with the overall regional vision.By converting business needs into targeted customs initiatives, you generate measurable organizational value and contribute directly to regional profitability and success.Your role also supports European governance by integrating local process insights into compliance and governance frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement and strategic alignment across the region.How You’ll Make an Impact
10. Drive and align the overall customs strategy across all Business Areas within the Customs Region Europe.
11. Consolidate and prioritize key requirements, focusing on complex and high-volume markets such as Germany.
12. Develop and implement forward-looking customs strategies that address current and upcoming regulations.
13. Ensure full compliance with governance standards and political or regulatory requirements.
14. Represent customs interests in internal and external forums while building strong stakeholder partnerships.
15. Identify risks, implement compliance measures, and support Business Areas in executing strategic customs initiatives.
What You Bring
16. University degree in economics, law, or a comparable field with a focus on international trade or customs.
17. Several years of experience in strategic customs management within international or matrix organizations.
18. In-depth knowledge of customs regulations in Germany and across the Customs Region Europe.
19. Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills combined with proven stakeholder management experience.
20. Expertise in developing and implementing governance and compliance frameworks.
21. Fluent in German and English; additional European languages and willingness to travel (approx. 20–30%) are advantageous.
