We are seeking an innovative Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge cooling and wiring designs.
Responsibilities:
* Develop innovative cooling and wiring designs
* Design, simulate, and evaluate board-level cooling components such as heatsinks, heatpipes, and thermal interface materials
* Perform heat transfer simulations for complex electrical components and PCBs
* Design, simulate, and assess high-density wiring systems capable of handling high currents or high voltages
* Build and test lab prototypes, including conducting detailed characterization measurements
* Work closely with contract manufacturers and supply chain on rollout and support
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
* Solid knowledge of electronic and mechanical design and simulation
* Basic experience with thermal simulation tools
* Experience in CAD design software, preferably with parametric design tools such as SolidWorks or Siemens NX
* Practical experience in heatsink or cable development as well as manufacturing support
* Business fluent German and fluent English communication skills
* A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for working collaboratively in a team
