The Team

A&M EMEA Corporate Finance ("A&M EMEA CF") is a rapidly growing M&A advisory division within Alvarez and Marsal ("A&M"), with over 160+ M&A professionals operating out of more than 15 offices i.a. in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Dubai. We collaborate as "one EMEA team" driven by a sector-focused approach and serve founders, entrepreneurs, financial investors, and market-leading corporations with tailored Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory, Capital Raising Advisory, and Strategic Advisory services.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced (Senior) Associate to join our A&M EMEA CF team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and high-profile M&A transactions across EMEA.

How You Will Contribute

Support transactions across EMEA regions across multiple sectors, including TMT, Business Services, Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare, Energy, and Real Estate
Lead the creation of marketing materials, pitch decks and transaction documents
Oversee all key workstreams, ensuring milestones are deliverables are achieved efficiently and on time
Act as key contact point for all relevant counterparties, including the client, key stakeholders and other advisors
Lead and mentor analysts and interns to maintain high-quality outputs while shaping and executing business development and campaign strategies

Qualifications

Relevant experience in investment banking / similar roles of at least 3 years with a successful and demonstrable track record in advising on M&A transactions
Analytical mindset combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Proven ability to support the origination of new clients and initiate new business opportunities
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Fluency in German and English is required
