INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (GN) - B04 ⚽

You will take ownership of Bayer 04 Leverkusen's international social media communication and help shape the future of its global digital presence across English-speaking channels.
The club is looking for someone who brings ideas, ownership and the ambition to actively shape international fan communication. It’s about building emotional connections with fans worldwide, driving engagement and helping grow one of Europe’s most exciting football brands internationally.
Editorial ownership of the English-language social media channels (Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads & App)
Development of creative storytelling and content concepts around matchdays, players, community and international campaigns
Cross-platform content creation for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Facebook and the Bayer 04 App
Management of international freelancers and agencies across markets such as Spain, the US and future international regions
Community management as well as live and on-site reporting during matches, training sessions and team travel
Contributing to the development of international app and digital entertainment formats
Close collaboration with internal video, graphics, photography and digital content teams within the newsroom setup
Strategic input on international campaigns, platform strategies and global fan growth initiatives
At least 2 years of experience in social media, digital content, PR or brand communications
Excellent English skills on C1/C2 or native level
Confident handling of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro or comparable tools
Experience working with agencies, freelancers or international stakeholders
Team-oriented, proactive and hands-on mindset with high energy and ownership mentality
