Purpose: This position uses subject-matter expert knowledge in Maintenance and Army Prepositioned Stocks operations to complete reporting assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. Additionally, helps solve complex operational challenges through strategic thinking that leads to implementing operational strategies for missions. Positions reporting to this function: N/A Essential duties and responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. Produces maintenance reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats. Maintains files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed Power Point slants and Excel spreadsheets. Perform maintenance scheduling to include production schedules for scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance. Identify equipment by UIC configurations and assist in parking plan operations. Preparing, developing, and coordinating reports for the Operations Manager or assigned Logistics Management Analyst to meet all program objectives. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across site functional groups including finance, material, and quality. Monitors and assists with expediting Long Lead Parts. Utilizes reports, charts and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Must be comfortable with public speaking and giving presentations to small and large groups. Be able to deploy with the Equipment Configuration Hand-off Area (ECHA) team to other work sites. Must have thorough knowledge of administration skills such as having a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office. Provides leadership and guidance to employees that is consistent with, and in support of, the section goals and objectives. Assists in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training plans. Conducts, leads, and participates in briefings, problem solving meetings, and Brigade level discussions. Ensures all personnel understand and follow all Company and Government policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure all personnel follow all Safety directives for APS-2. Able to manage employee vacation, sick leave, time sheets, labor cards and job management. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualification and experience requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Must have at least 5 years of previous experience in Supply, Maintenance, or Logistics. Must have minimum 3-years of experience with Microsoft Office programs. High School graduate or equivalent. Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements. Must be able to meet and maintain all Logistic Information System (LIS) access requirements (Common Access Card). Position requires a high level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focused attitude. Specialized knowledge and skills: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Additional Requirements: 1) LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS: Valid driveru2019s license is required. 2) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stooping, sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves-51 with the assistance of another person, touching dexterity (hand and finger), carrying, clear seeing-general, close vision, color perception, clear speech, driving vehicle, moving objects. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively up to a 48-hour work week. Must be able to endure long hours (overtime as required). 3) WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
