 
        
        We are seeking a Non-Contract Project Engineer HVAC (m/f/d) who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing technically demanding service projects outside of maintenance contracts –, retrofits, modifications, modernizations, or complex commissioning of HVAC systems.
The focus is on project management from quotation to acceptance, technical support for our service technicians and customers, and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. This includes being on-site when needed and operationally supporting projects.
Your Tasks – What Awaits You: · Project Coordination (Non-Contract Services):
 * You plan, manage, and are responsible for technically demanding service projects outside of maintenance contracts (, retrofits, upgrades, system modifications, replacement of cooling components)
 * You manage interfaces between dispatch, service, factory/manufacturer, sales, and customers – from offer specification to acceptance
 * You create and maintain project plans, RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statement), risk assessments, schedule and resource plans, and release documents
 * You manage delivery dates, material logistics, subcontractors, and ensure proper documentation (reports, checklists, as-built documents)
· Technical Support (Thermal / HVAC-R):
 * You support service technicians, internal staff, and customers with complex technical issues – remotely and on-site
 * You analyze malfunctions, initiate factory tickets, follow up, and communicate bulletins & field change notices to the field
 * You accompany commissioning, functional tests (FAT/SAT) and ensure quality assurance during implementation
· Field-Specialist Operations:
 * You serve as technical expert on-site for critical deployments/escalations – especially in key regions like Frankfurt/Rhine-Main
 * You conduct site surveys, risk checks, and pre-start reviews and support the team with challenging installations and switchovers
· Documentation & Digital Feedback:
 * You efficiently document your deployments using mobile tools. You provide feedback directly to our team – clearly, completely, and reliably
 * You ensure EHS compliance (instructions, PPE, approvals) and monitor quality standards
Your Qualifications: · Completed technical training in HVAC, mechatronics, or electrical engineering; preferably technician/master craftsman or degree (, supply engineering/mechanical engineering) · Professional experience in technical field service advantageous – also welcome career starters willing to learn · Several years of experience in HVAC-R service/projects (retrofit, modification, commissioning) – ideal: combination of project coordination + field practice · Proficient in RAMS/EHS, F-gases, leak testing, testing and acceptance processes · Routine with MS Office, preferably project tools (MS Project or similar), ticket/ERP systems, and digital service apps · Refrigerant expertise according to ChemKlimaschutzV (Cat. I) · Valid driver's license Class B · Structured, solution-oriented work approach, clear prioritization, hands-on mentality · Willingness to travel · Very good German language skills (written and spoken) and good English skills (documentation, coordination with factory/manufacturer)
