Our branch in Germany is responsible for sales and service of our products including the associated software.Your tasks:Collaboration with stakeholders including clients and internal teams to define system requirements, perform site surveys, and develop optimal UPS system configurationsIntegration, interfacing and configuration of the UPS system with other power infrastructure in the facility, such as generators, switchgears, transformers, STS, power distribution units (PDUs), battery backup systems, etc. tailored to meet the specific power needs of data centers and industry clients, ensuring redundancy, efficiency, and reliabilityDesign and purchase of peripheral panelsTechnical consultation for internal teams and clients regarding UPS system design, implementation, performance optimization, and lifecycle service strategy, pre- as well as after salesAct as a subject matter expert for UPS systems, offering guidance on best practices, energy efficiency, and capacity planningDevelopment and discussion of detailed technical proposals, documentation, system designs, schematics, configuration files, manuals, service frameworks, remote monitoring solutions, maintenance plans with clients and support of the establishment of service networks and partner ecosystemsLeading and coordinating of cross-functional troubleshooting and incident management, including root cause analysis, corrective actions for hardware, firmware and software, and continuous improvement in collaboration with clients and internal teamsYour background:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field; certifications in UPS systems or power management (e.G., Certified Power Systems Professional, UPS manufacturer certifications) are a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a related technical role, preferably within UPS system design, integration, and maintenance in data center or critical infrastructure environmentsStrong understanding of power electronics, power distribution, system configurations, and energy storage technologiesProficiency in system integration, electrical schematics, and technical documentationExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersCustomer-oriented mindset with experience in building long-term relationships and developing service delivery frameworks or support networksOur offer:We offer the advantages of a medium-sized company combined with those of a global, long-term oriented corporation: challenging tasks, an appropriate compensation package as well as attractive fringe benefits.
