Marketing Data Analyst*
in Bonn or Berlin
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. The position is paid according to Salary Group 8.
We aim to manage our marketing activities in an increasingly data-driven way in the future – and you will help us create transparency, clarity, and measurable impact.
As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will develop a standardized KPI and reporting framework, build dashboards, and deliver the insights our marketing teams need to make data-based decisions. At the same time, you will take on a central role in budget planning and performance monitoring.
Your responsibilities
1. You will develop and maintain a department-wide KPI and reporting framework for marketing.
2. You will create Power BI dashboards, further develop them, and support colleagues in building their own reports.
3. You will conduct analyses of donor behavior.
4. You will analyze customer journeys, conversion funnels, and marketing channels and derive concrete optimization opportunities.
5. You will assess the effectiveness of marketing measures through attribution analyses and exploratory data analysis.
6. You will support marketing budget planning and ensure transparent, data-based decision-making.
7. You will work closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists in projects and maintain an overview of relevant tracking setups.
Your profile
8. A completed degree in marketing, business administration, statistics, data analytics, or a comparable qualification.
9. Relevant professional experience in marketing analytics or a comparable data-focused role.
10. Very good knowledge of Power BI and experience in building insightful dashboards.
11. Experience with customer analyses and a strong understanding of target group, journey, and funnel analyses.
12. Basic experience with web analytics and a good understanding of tracking concepts.
13. Confident use of Excel and enjoyment of structured, analytical work.
14. Ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable way and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
15. Strong communication skills and willingness to empower colleagues and strengthen analytical capabilities within the team.
16. An independent, solution-oriented working style and interest in continuous professional development.
17. Regular use of GenAI tools in your daily work; experience with predictive analytics in marketing is an advantage.
18. Very good German and English skills, with full professional proficiency in both spoken and written communication.
