Due to the growth of the business, they have had a brand new, vital, very exciting opportunity that has come up for their team in Germany. The position is a HR Generalist and is a permanent position. We’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting our people operations, ensuring compliance, and helping to create a workplace culture that supports innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Responsibilities Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related inquiries Support the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviewing coordination, onboarding Manage employee records and HRIS data to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications Help facilitate training programs, performance review cycles, and employee engagement initiatives Ensure HR practices align with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and employment laws Support health & safety policies in collaboration with the EHS team Participate in HR projects such as DEI initiatives, wellness programs, and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field 2–5 years of HR experience (experience in medical device, pharma, or biotech preferred) Solid knowledge of HR best practices and employment law (multi-state experience a plus) Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’re approachable, empathetic, and trustworthy Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, or BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite Bonus: PHR or SHRM-CP certification If this sounds like something you could be interested in I'd love to receive your applications directly or send me an email to: bhylton@barringtonjames.com
