We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior RF Test Engineer to join our indie radar team. This position is responsible for testing and characterizing mmWave radar IC designs. You will join a team of engineers responsible for developing the next-generation automotive radar. You will be involved in the testing and characterization of mmWave circuits and systems in advanced CMOS technologies, bringing an innovative radar solution to the automotive market. As part of a cross-functional development team, you will interact with other essential disciplines, including IC design, requirements, system validation, application software, IC packaging, and PCB teams. Job Responsibilities Manage and maintain the RF, wafer prober, and mixed-signal lab. Derive setups for characterization of mmWave ICs and boards. Automate measurement setups and evaluation scripts. Organize, support, and perform measurement campaigns. Contribute to automated unit tests (SIL and HIL). Support measurement, evaluation, and DVT setups. In an agile development environment, you will be part of a team striving toward the best performance and stability of our measurement setups. Actively collaborate with teams from different departments and sites in an international environment. Some travel will be required, including international travel. University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a comparable qualification, or equivalent industry experience. Significant knowledge of and experience with lab practices and handling high-end mmWave measurement equipment. Demonstrated experience with different measurement setups and characterization methods for analog and digital ICs and PCBs. Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for instrumentation control and automation. Enjoy debugging as well as inventing more efficient ways to test. Familiarity with on-wafer measurements of mmWave circuits is a plus. Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, JIRA, or Gerrit) is a plus.
