About the Role
Here at Workday, our Specialized Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. With a net new revenue focus account executives in this role will work with both existing and new workday accounts.
This key role accelerates Workday’s new customer growth of Workday HiredScore. This fantastic team of hardworking professionals play a key role in guiding customers on a journey that can see them leave the limitations of legacy platforms behind and move forward with a new class of enterprise management cloud.
In this role, you will:
•Develop and work with the core account executive to drive the overall strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives while building long-term relationships
•Take responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and partners with a focus on deal management and connecting customer needs with specific specialized products Workday solutions.
•Work with both Net New and Customer Base Account executives to identify potential opportunities for specialized products within accounts.
•Maintain accurate and timely pipeline, and forecasts.
About You
Basic Qualifications
1. 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based solutions to C-levels in a field sales position.
2. Experience of managing complexsales cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
3. Develops deep product expertise on new products and stays up to date with industry and market trends.
4. Experience with account planning and coordinating with internal stakeholders to create alignment
5. Deep HR Technology & AI recruiting / talent acquisition expertise is required.
6. Fluency in German is required
Other Qualifications
7. Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts.
8. Partners with internal team members on account strategies for prospecting activities and territory management
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-thread and establish credibility with senior executives within Enterprise accounts (VPs, CxO, etc.)
10. Experience selling transformative AI solutions
11. Informing demand generation strategies
12. Goal-oriented, with a consistent track record of over-performance
13. Self-starter, high energy, adaptable, inquisitive
