WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a system engineer in function development (m/f/d), you will develop prototypical software algorithms for rapid prototyping control units as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will also take responsibility for the specification of new software components for future systems and coordinate these with other specialist departments. As part of the introduction of a new E/E architecture, you will provide support in the areas of software architecture, basic software and diagnostic tools.
Your tasks:
1. Functional development of prototypical software algorithms for rapid prototyping control units
2. Specification of new software components for future systems against the background of series development
3. Support in the areas of software architecture, basic software and diagnostic tools in the context of a new E/E architecture
4. Supervision and coordination of subcontractors (m/f/d)
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
5. Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science or similar
6. Experience in the field of software development for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive or aerospace domains
7. Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and the programming languages C/C++
8. Knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 desirable
9. A structured and independent way of working and a strong ability to work in a team
10. Very good written and spoken German and English skills
