A Snapshot of Your Day As an External Communications Manager, you will be part of the global Gas Services Communications team at Siemens Energy, helping shape and communicate our story across international markets and audiences.In this role, you will develop compelling content and strategic communications that position Gas Services, its leaders, and its focus topics externally across multiple channels. You will work closely with colleagues across regions and functions to create impactful storytelling that supports business priorities, thought leadership, executive positioning, and external visibility.We are looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, exceptional writing skills, and a strong understanding of the external communications landscape, including media, social media, and executive communications.
How You’ll Make an Impact
13. Develop and execute strategic external communication initiatives aligned with key business priorities, executive positioning, and brand visibility
14. Create and refine high-quality content across multiple formats and channels, including articles, speeches, executive messaging, presentations, social media, and thought leadership content
15. Translate complex business and strategic topics into clear, engaging, and audience-focused communication and storytelling
16. Collaborate closely with regional and global communications teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders to ensure aligned and integrated messaging
17. Support communication plans, campaigns, and external visibility initiatives while identifying opportunities through market and media trends
18. Drive communication activities independently in an international environment with strong stakeholder management and execution focus
What You Bring
19. Proven experience in external communications, journalism, thought leadership, speechwriting, or comparable communication-focused roles
20. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
21. Exceptional writing, storytelling, and strategic messaging skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively
22. Strong research and analytical capabilities combined with a good understanding of media, digital, and social media landscapes
23. Experience working with senior stakeholders and international cross-functional teams in a structured and collaborative manner
24. Curiosity, creativity, ownership, and a passion for shaping impactful stories; experience in multinational organizations and/or the energy sector is considered an advantage
