The Department of Computer Science investigates and contributes to shaping the interface between information and communication technology and society. It promotes interdisciplinary research and cooperates closely with other high-profile research centres and industry partners.
Role Summary:
* Develop and perform research in Computer Science and establish a research group
* Seek cooperation with researchers within the department and across faculties, centres and external research institutions
* Contribute to the teaching missions of the department at various levels and provide lectures for bachelor and master programmes
* Advise PhD candidates and contribute to doctoral and postdoctoral training
What We Are Looking For:
* A PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
* A research track record in Artificial Intelligence, with emphasis on Generative AI and demonstrated openness to interdisciplinary collaboration
* Expertise in one or more core areas of Generative AI, including Large Language Models, Generative Adversarial Networks, diffusion models and neurosymbolic methods
* Publications in top-tier computer conferences and journals related to AI and machine learning
* Experience in teaching Computer Science topics at undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate levels
