DB Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple trading hubs and tech centres. Chief Security Office (CSO)
The Chief Security Office protects Deutsche Bank against information and physical security risks. CSO drives the Bank's information security strategy and ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Deutsche Bank's information assets across a global technology landscape.
Within the Chief Security Office (CSO), Identity & Access Management (IAM) is a core security capability responsible for ensuring that access to Deutsche Bank's systems, applications, and data is appropriately controlled, monitored, and governed throughout the user and service lifecycle. IAM initiatives focus on reducing security risk, enforcing least-privilege access, and meeting regulatory and audit expectations across the Bank.
Secrets Management is a key component of IAM, addressing the secure handling of non-human credentials such as passwords, API keys, certificates, and service accounts. Secrets Management initiatives aim to improve confidentiality, integrity, and availability by introducing standardized lifecycle management, inventory, monitoring, and control mechanisms for secrets used across on-premise, cloud, and application environments. These initiatives are critical to reducing operational risk and strengthening the Bank's security posture.
