We are therefore seeking a talented and motivated Senior Designer for our international Competition Team in Munich or Berlin to help us shape visionary sustainable architecture and human‑centred places.

We are seeking a creative and committed team member to support a wide range of tasks including acquisition, competition design, feasibility studies, and ensuring design quality across project stages LP 1–5. You should be able to work independently on tasks related to design excellence and methodology, feel at home in client management and interdisciplinary collaboration, and bring strong expertise and team spirit.
If you have 5–8 years of professional experience, a strong background in international and interdisciplinary competitions, a clear design attitude, and familiarity with data‑driven design, we invite you to join our Design Community at Henning Larsen. You will be based in our Munich or Berlin studio, working closely with our established design team and collaborating with international colleagues and experts.

Your responsibilities include:
1. Strengthening and further developing our architectural design quality and competencies through a state‑of‑the‑art project portfolio and a client‑centred approach, acting as a trusted advisor
2. Maintaining client relationships and ensuring a client‑oriented project approach
3. Leading and safeguarding design quality, methodology, design reviews, pin‑ups, and client activities in early project stages, in close collaboration with project management
4. Ensuring synergies between projects, competitions, services, and clients
5. Delivering confident and compelling presentations to clients, authorities, and internal global design committees
6. Leading design and planning processes within interdisciplinary and international teams
7. Ensuring compliance with company standards and guidelines
Your profile:
8. Degree in Architecture
9. Several years of professional experience (minimum 5 years) with proven expertise in competitions
10. Strong conceptual thinking and a high level of design ambition and creativity
11. Ability to work independently, solution‑oriented, and with strong attention to quality
12. Experience in developing designs in 2D, 3D, visualisations, and graphics using Revit, Rhino, and Enscape
13. Fluent and confident in both German and English
14. International work experience is an advantage
