Investigations Assistant

The Data Quality and Know-Your-Customer team is responsible for conducting operational checks on all retail customers regarding money laundering and terrorist financing prevention. We research and document background information on our clients to meet regulatory requirements, working closely with our Geldwäschebeauftragten (money laundering officer) and bank connections. Our shared goal is to maintain KYC principles, ensure customer satisfaction, and foster strong relationships.
In this role, you will:
* Conduct investigations and monitoring using technical tools such as Microsoft, Agree, and AMS-Tool.
* Identify and handle suspicious accounts.
* Provide detailed responses to requests from the Geldwäschebeauftragten and correspondents.
* Take responsibility for the KYC principle through your deep understanding of analyzed customer groups to strengthen our First-Line of Defense.
* Engage in direct customer communication and maintain excellent documentation.
To be successful in this position, you should ideally have:
* A degree in banking or business administration.
* Experience with service and process management in a bank, particularly with private customers and legal entities.
* Initial experience in fraud prevention.
* Basic knowledge of regulation and GWG.
Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary between €42,000 - €52,000 per year, plus potential social and location allowances.
