Join us as an IT Director. This position will be based at Starion’s premises in either Wavre or Libin, Belgium.
You’ll lead the evolution of our worldwide IT infrastructure shaping, optimizing, and maintaining systems that empower teams and drive business success. With a deep understanding of organizational needs, you’ll anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and implement forward‑thinking solutions that keep our global operations connected and competitive.
As part of this journey, you will support both Starion Group and Nexova Group, two sister companies that are managed centrally under one leadership and corporate service teams. While you will be hired by the Nexova Group entity, you will directly contribute to the activities of both companies.
Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
* Leading the development and implementation of processes for the organization’s IT systems and departments.
* Developing and implementing business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
* Analysing IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
* Coordinating multisite IT systems.
* Managing and providing ongoing internal support for CRM, ERP, and other internal systems.
* Overseeing systems maintenance, business support coverage and troubleshooting for mission‑critical systems.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience, is required.
* Strong application‑support, cloud, security, and network administration background.
* At least 7 years of experience managing a team of IT professionals in various disciplines (infrastructure, help desk, user support, application development).
* Demonstrated leadership, project management and problem ‑solving skills.
* Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non‑technical people effectively.
* Experience in leading technical projects from beginning to completion.
* Experience in leading IT support teams.
* Good understanding of data privacy in general.

* Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
* Experience in operating in a matrix environment.
* Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
