As a member of our laboratory team, you will support the development of innovative biopharmaceuticals and be responsible for the synthesis of chemical structures. You'll work in a highly interdisciplinary environment, using modern laboratory equipment for analyses and chromatographic purifications, while closely collaborating with our biology group.
Your mission
* Synthesis of organic compounds as well as purification and analysis with the aid of modern separation methods (HPLC, Flash, TLC and LC-MS)
* Preparation, implementation and documentation of experiments within our research and development projects
* Co-development, optimization and validation of novel synthesis methods with one of our senior scientists
* Operation and maintenance of laboratory devices
* Conduction of analytical assays (HPLC, MS) can be optional task
* Learning to conduct bioconjugation reactions of drugs to antibodies followed by large molecule purification techniques can be optional task
Your profile
* Relevant practical work experience in a chemical laboratory.
* University degree in chemistry (B.Sc. or M. Sc.) or CTA/Laborant/Chemikant.
* Very good knowledge of chemical synthesis and chromatographic purification methods.
* Being able to safely handle chemicals.
* Good proficiency in spoken and written English
* High level of commitment, sense of responsibility and capability to work in a team
Desirable:
* Bioconjugation skills
* German language skills
