We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join the delivery team on a major data centre construction project in Frankfurt. This is a high-profile role within a global contractor delivering mission-critical infrastructure for hyperscale and colocation clients across Europe.
As Electrical Engineer, you will take technical responsibility for the design coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of complex electrical systems within a fast-paced data centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the installation and quality of electrical systems including:MV/LV distribution,UPS,Generators, Switchgear, Busbar, Fire alarms, Lighting
2. Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and site management to ensure buildability and compliance
3. Support commissioning and FAT/SAT testing phases in collaboration with commissioning teams
4. Review technical submittals, drawings, and method statements
5. Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and within scope/specifications
6. Prepare and maintain technical documentation and progress reports
Candidate Requirements
7. 10+ years' experience in an Electrical Engineering role, ideally on data centres, high-tech, or industrial projects
8. Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards in a mission-critical environment
9. Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
10. Experience working with international teams and subcontractors
11. Fluent in English (German is a plus)
12. Valid EU passport or work permit for Germany
