* Commercial escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders for any relevant topics within the Commercial department
* Support with multimodal rate schemes (Ocean/Rail/Road/Air/Sea-Air) in the context of our Rate Card Management activities
* Leading freight tenders, including analysis, preparation and processing
* Creation of presentations for our customers and business partners
* Internal as well as external rate negotiations
* Collaboration with customers and different Kuehne+Nagel country organizations in an international environment
* Collaboration and support on projects
* Experience in freight forwarding and in logistics services, and a deep understanding of logistics processes
* Excellent English skills, both written and spoken and conversational level of German skills
* High level of user skills for MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Customer oriented and economical mindset and acting
* Analytical mindset, structured way of working as well as affinity for numbers

* Willingness to occasionally travel (1-2x a year)
