Procurement Manager (EMEA) - FMCG Industry - Near Regensburg, Germany (Hybrid Working)
On behalf of our client, a leading global FMCG and packaging company, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join their team near Regensburg, Germany. This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility of working just 4 days in office per month or less (including travel)

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading procurement activities across multiple EMEA sites, driving strategic initiatives, and optimizing supplier relationships to contribute to the overall success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring the best possible terms for the business.
* Procurement Strategy Execution: Implement global and regional procurement strategies at the 3 sites, aligning with company goals and objectives.
* Cost Optimization: Lead cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement processes.
* Dual Sourcing Implementation: Oversee dual sourcing strategies to ensure supply chain resilience and mitigate risks.
* Vendor Engagement: Organize and lead vendor meetings to resolve procurement and quality issues while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Driving win-win cost saving initiatives.
* CAPEX Oversight: Manage CAPEX investments, ensuring timely delivery and full compliance with site operations.
* Savings Reporting: Provide regular updates to project managers on savings performance and track progress.
* Local Spend Oversight: Manage local procurement activities to prevent unauthorized purchasing and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Energy Management: Represent the 3 sites in energy management efforts, tracking and analyzing energy market trends.
* Compliance and Payment Terms: Ensure vendor payment terms are adhered to and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

Your Profile (essential) :
* Proven experience in procurement or purchasing in a manufacturing environment, within FMCG or packaging industries is a plus.
* Strong skills in supplier management, cost-saving initiatives, and contract negotiation.
* Strong internal stakeholder manager skillset
* Ability to understand large corporate matrix organisations
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* C1 German or above
