Senior Actuary
The company offers an exciting opportunity to join its Finance & Actuarial team as a Senior Actuary Non-Life (m/f/d) at its offices in Ismaning, Germany.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for:
* Reserving tasks under local GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II in close collaboration with our Entities.
* Assisting our Chief Actuary in providing actuarial advice to the CFO, Board and Branches.
* Advising on Solvency II topics across the Organisation.
* Supporting Risk Management, ORSA-process, and Planning/FP&A.
* Giving guidance regarding reinsurance and underwriting across the Organisation.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A university degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.
* Qualification from an actuarial body recognised in the EU is an advantage.
* Several years of experience in actuarial reserving (ideally motor), data-oriented tasks, regulatory reporting under Solvency II or similar.
* Competence in MS Excel and experience with actuarial software (preferably ResQ).
* Good team skills, the ability to work collaboratively with fellow colleagues across Europe.
* Fluency in spoken and written English and ideally German, and the ability to move confidently in an international environment.
