Summary
As a Lead Backend Developer / Development Expert within the Platform Services Group, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a seamless administration and governance experience for users of our SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite. You'll be working in the Identity Management & Tenant Lifecycle domain, taking significant strides in driving new feature introductions and aiding our top-level customers to derive maximum value from our suite.

What you'll bring:
* 7+ years of software developer experience, following agile methodologies
* Passionate about fast iterations, test-driven development, pair programming and pragmatic development approaches
* Ability to balance pragmatism and engineering excellence
* In-depth knowledge of Java and Typescript and exposure to functional programming
* Experience utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and associated cloud technologies
* Hands-on experience with SQL databases, ideally MySQL or PostgreSQL
* Experience with microservice architectures, message-based systems, and/or serverless architectures
* Proven ability to refactor larger pieces of code safely and efficiently You have a continuous-learning attitude and are passionate about growing yourself and facilitating peer growth
* Prior experience in the domain of identity and access management (IAM) is a big plus
* Bonus: you are interested in frontend development or have some experience with React, Node.js, GraphQL or similar technologies
