Commercial Director (f/m/d) – Mass Retail Channel Germany
Company: Kenvue
Role reports to: Sr Commercial Director Germany
Location: Europe/Middle East/Africa – Germany, North Rhine Westphalia, Rhein-Kreis Neuss
Work Location: Hybrid
What you will do:
* Accelerate our Mass retail channel strategy within Germany, focusing on Grocery & Discount (LEH + Discount) channels.
* Own the commercial strategy and execution for the Grocery and Discount channels in Germany.
* Develop and execute differentiated strategies for each retailer, aligned with broader commercial goals.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and Key Account executives.
* Own the sales forecast, gross margins, trade spends, promotional budgets, and revenue targets per customer.
* Lead annual negotiations with local and regional customers, including buying groups.
* Build strong, trust‑based partnerships with top retailer partners.
* Contribute to wider Germany sales success as a key member of the leadership team, deputising for the Senior Sales Director as required.

Experience and qualifications:
* Outstanding track record of success in sales (Mass and/or Discount channel ideal). Minimum of 8 to 10 years at senior leadership level.
* Strong track record in negotiations, trade spend management, and market share growth.
* Demonstrated success in both strategic planning and flawless execution.
* Proven experience with people development.
* International experience is an advantage.
