Environmental and Sustainability Lead
Your Key Responsibilities.
Ensure full compliance with environmental laws and regulations in all covered countries: Align regional sustainability practices with global corporate goals and customer expectations, Lead sustainability reporting efforts, including internal dashboards and external disclosures, Promote continuous improvement in environmental performance and sustainability metrics, Act as the regional point of contact for environmental audits, certifications, and stakeholder engagement.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations across region.
* Track and fulfil customer-specific environmental and sustainability requirements. Align regional practices with global sustainability frameworks (e.g., ISO 14001, EcoVadis, GRI). Support customer audits and sustainability assessments.
* Lead internal and external environmental and sustainability reporting.
* Monitor and improve environmental KPIs such as energy use, waste generation, water consumption, and carbon emissions. Identify opportunities for environmental impact reduction and resource efficiency.
* Develop and deliver training programs on environmental compliance and sustainability.
* Support internal and external environmental audits. Identify risks and lead mitigation planning. Ensure readiness for third-party certifications.
* Monitor Environmental Performance including waste management, emissions, and resource usage. Support sustainability initiatives and reporting (e.g., carbon footprint, energy efficiency).
* Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
* Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental and sustainability into business operations.
Your profile.
* Engineering Degree and experience of 5 years performing Environmental and Sustainability position in operations.
* Experience in implementation of International Management systems (ISO14001)
* Ability to interpret and apply international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, EU Green Deal).
* Skilled in tracking and implementing customer-specific environmental requirements
* Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis, GRI)
* Strong analytical skills to manage internal dashboards and external disclosures.
* Experience with ESG data collection, validation and visualization tools.
* Experience conducting environmental audits and managing corrective actions.
* Fluency in English
