You lead the systems engineering activities of complex telecommunication satellite programs across all project phases (B1–B2/C/D). You guide systems engineers, own system requirements and verification strategies, and act as the key technical interface to project management and customers.Your ResponsibilitiesTechnical and organizational management of System Engineers in their respective assignments on the project, initially in phase B1 and later in phase B2/C/D, providing the guidance to achieve the mission technical objectivesAct as interface to the project management and to the customer for any technical questionsDefine the system requirements (including verification approach), coordinated with the project managementEvaluate system design maturity and perform independent technical assessmentsEstablish and drive systems engineering processes across SE, ENG, AIT, PA/QA, SCMEnsure technical coherence, information flow, and regular project checkpointsSupport risk assessment, cost control, and system-level budget planningResponsible for the timely delivery of inputs/outputs of the system engineering teamCollaborate closely with telecom payload and satellite engineering teams on the satellite designContribute to telecom system studies and platform cost optimizationSupport cost optimization of the OHB telecommunication platform productsYour ProfileMaster’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace (or equivalent)5+ years experience in space programs as System / Technical LeadStrong background in telecommunication satellite systemsEnd-to-end systems engineering experience (mission definition to AIV/AIT)Confident in challenging technical baselines and driving corrective actionsStrong capability to challenge the technical baseline and propose/undertake corrective actionsExcellent communication skills; strong team and stakeholder mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr
