A successful Semiconductor leader in the data communication market is looking for a Principal Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join them in the Western part of Germany. Applications of experienced Engineers within the EU as well as from international destinations are welcome to apply. Our client has offices near Frankfurt, however the right candidate could also work remotely within Germany.
About the Role
The Engineer will have ample opportunity to develop their technical skills and progress in their career while being involved with the design of entire block as well as Layout.
Responsibilities
* Complete design and implementation of analog/mixed-signal and full-custom circuits including schematics, layout, test benches and simulation
* Supporting the verification team in creating functional and real-number models (RNM)
* Supporting layout implementation
* Continuous improvement of automated full-custom work-flows
* Work closely and cross-functional across different groups to support a successful and on-time product release
Qualifications
* BSc/MSc degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
Required Skills
* Highly experienced within Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design with several years of experience in high speed SerDes and high speed interfaces
* Experienced within the field of high speed SerDes design or related functionality (PLLs, Rx or Tx analog frontends, high speed digital full custom logic)
* Skilled in the Cadence design flow and full-custom EDA tools, in particular Virtuoso Schematic/Layout, ADE Assembler and Spectre.
