Warehousing & Inventory Management Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring optimal storage, inventory accuracy, and material handling processes. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure availability of raw materials and finished goods. Develop and enforce safety, compliance, and operational procedures within the warehouse. Inbound Logistics Manage the receipt of raw materials, components, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to optimize inbound transportation costs and lead times. Monitor supplier performance related to delivery accuracy and timeliness. Outbound Logistics Lead the distribution and shipment of finished goods to customers, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Optimize transportation methods, negotiate contracts with carriers, and manage freight costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, export/import laws, and documentation requirements. Production Planning & Scheduling Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, and Sales teams to develop efficient production schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory targets. Balance production capacity with material availability, labor resources, and delivery deadlines. Monitor production workflow and adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or disruptions. Continuous Improvement & Strategy Identify and implement process improvements across logistics and supply chain operations to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Utilize data analytics and KPIs to monitor performance, generate reports, and inform decision-making. Lead initiatives in adopting digital tools, automation, or lean methodologies within logistics operations. Team Leadership & Collaboration Manage, mentor, and develop a team of logistics, warehouse, and planning personnel. Foster cross-functional communication between departments including Procurement, Production, Quality, and Sales. Ensure adherence to company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or production planning within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation management, and production scheduling. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Strong negotiation skills and experience working with carriers and suppliers. Understanding of lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT), and continuous improvement principles is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in supply chain/logistics (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, CLTD). Experience with international logistics and trade compliance. Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes and materials.
