I am looking for Director / Partner to join our IT Transformation Advisory Services. Within this domain, the Advisors are predominantly working as part of small teams on customer projects to provide IT strategic and sourcing advisory services to customer internal organisation with the objective of designing Transformation strategies, implementing change transaction and establishing the appropriate governance structure. Customer transactions are typically large multi-year deals (50m€ and beyond) that are often complex, international and strategic and may heavily impact the company’s top line, risk position and profitability.
The Director / Partner lead of DACH will be based in Germany, is responsible and accountable as part of a consultancy engagement team to deliver the consulting services as defined in the professional services agreement and the respective client. The individual will be tasked with helping grow the business, grow existing accounts and find new clients. They will be focused on DACH market growth focusing on the Manufacturing sector (which include automotive, Engineering, Technology).
It is expected that a Senior Advisor will have the following general qualifications, skills and experience.
* Very good understanding of medium to large international transactions in the Business Process and/or IT domain, Business IT Change, IT Transformation with preference in an outsourcing context
* Experience in performance assessment, maturity assessment, and service quality assessment; benchmarking.
* Knowledge and experience in Networks (Telecoms, Cloud, AI, LAN’s, WAN’s etc) and/or IT Applications/Infrastructure preferred.
* Demonstrated strength and experience in working with medium to large or international corporations or strategic corporate functions or client relationships.
* Demonstrated excellence in project management, people management, interpersonal communication, and organisational skills.
* Solid demonstration of Sales, building on current relationships and key eye for new business
* Experience in business unit management experience, including contract or commercial management.
* Solid demonstrated Project Management skills, strong understanding of aspects of planning, budgeting, scheduling, client relations, and project delivery.
* Very good knowledge of relevant outsourcing methodologies
* Good Financial understanding, analytical understanding of complex business models
* Ability to do business case engineering from both the company’s and the customer’s perspective
* Excellent language skills in at least German and English. A third language is a plus. (oral and written proficiency)

* Excellent interpersonal/ networking skills up to CXO level; negotiation and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently to meet agreed objectives and targets
* Strong internal communications and networking skills

* Demonstrated active learner, creative thinker with analytical skills and capability in developing strategic concepts
* Demonstrated experience of working within a dynamic ‘high deal value’ organisation.
* Demonstrated experience in implementing complex transactions in an international environment
Required Skillsets
* Sourcing and procurement expertise
* Business account management, business development and sales experience including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal writing, sales calls and sales support.
* 10+ years of recent experience preferably working for a management consulting firm in several roles including technology, advisory, account management, sales and service delivery management.
* Expert knowledge of information technology, service delivery, outsourcing. Partner Eco-system management, governance, operating models and service provider management.
* Expert business technology skills in ideally several of the DACH market industries or one other consulting heavy industry, with a proven track record.
* Experienced in simultaneously managing multiple responsibilities i.e. client delivery, business development, and advisor development. Delivery management leadership experience, including managing teams at all project phases, managing multiple medium sized or mega deals, and a demonstrated exemplary track record in successful client relationship management.
* Further develops relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 outsourcing/IT services vendors.
* Strong operational strategy and digital transformation skills.
* Recognized as industry expert by clients and peers. Previous experience speaking at industry relevant conferences.
Excellent command of German and English (spoken and written), other languages would be an advantage. Strong and broad business network in the DACH market and lives in Germany.
