Job Summary:
Job Purpose:
To lead and execute testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for metro rail systems in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. The role ensures smooth integration of electrical and mechanical systems for safe and timely project handover.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of metro rail systems such as OHE, traction, power supply, signaling, and associated equipment.
2. Review technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
3. Coordinate with design, construction, and quality teams for system readiness before commissioning.
4. Ensure all safety protocols, isolation procedures, and statutory clearances are followed during commissioning activities.
5. Prepare test reports, commissioning documentation, and as-built records for client submission.
6. Support the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during commissioning and handover stages.
7. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and client representatives for inspection and approvals.
8. Maintain proper record-keeping and documentation as per project and company standards.
9. Provide technical input during system integration testing (SIT) and trial runs.
10. Ensure work execution is in line with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
Qualification & Experience:
11. Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized institute.
12. Minimum 3–8 years of experience in railway / metro / OHE / traction or electrical commissioning.
13. Experience with metro projects, elevated or underground systems preferred.
14. Familiarity with Indian Railway / RDSO / DMRC standards is desirable.
15. Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures, safety standards, and documentation.
